Junaid Khan Speaks Out on Nepotism: 'Aamir Khan's Son Is Not...'

Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan made his Bollywood debut with the film 'Maharaj'. In this film, the actor was seen in the role of journalist and social reformer Karsandas Mulji. Junaid won the hearts of the audience with his acting in his first film itself. Recently Junaid Khan revealed that if he was not Aamir Khan's son, he would not have got the film 'Maharaj'.

Let us tell you that Junaid Khan, who comes from a filmy background, recently acknowledged his privileges and admitted that he wouldn't have gotten Maharaj if his lineage didn't include Aamir Khan. He said, "Sometimes you get some parts, some don't. It's true that I gave some auditions before Maharaj. They didn't happen at that time. Yes, father has already talked about it, so I can say yes. When I auditioned, my father liked it a lot but the problem with the film was that you can't make that film with a new actor. So I didn't get the chance to do that film, but I will admit that if I wasn't Aamir Khan's son, I wouldn't have gotten Maharaj".

Maharaj was released on Netflix on June 21

Maharaj, directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, a YRF Entertainment production, depicts the historic Maharaj defamation case of 1862, starring Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey and Sharvari in lead roles. The historical drama was temporarily halted by the Gujarat High Court after members of the Vaishnav Pushtimarg sect filed a petition objecting to the representation of religious beliefs in the film. On June 21, the High Court lifted the stay and ruled that Maharaj does not target the Vaishnav Pushtimarg sect in any way and the film was released on Netflix the same day.

Junaid will be seen with Khushi Kapoor

Junaid Khan is all set to appear in a romantic film after Maharaj. Khushi Kapoor will also be seen with the actor in this film. Recently the release date of the film has been revealed. Today, Kars shared the release date of Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor's romantic film on 17 September 2024. In the poster shared on social media, a girl and a boy are seen taking a selfie. On which it is written, "Are you ready to experience love in the digital age with @khushi05k and #JunaidKhan? In theaters worldwide on 7 February 2025! Directed by @advaitchandan".
